What started as wildlife photography gradually revealed how naturally my skills could extend into other areas. I realized that my background in the construction industry offered an opportunity to combine two worlds I know well. This led me to expand into construction photography, where I could apply both my creative perspective and my hands-on experience.
Wildlife photography taught me to look closely—to notice small details, anticipate moments, and capture scenes that evoke emotion or curiosity. Those same qualities now shape my approach to documenting construction projects. Because I’ve worked within the industry, I understand the craftsmanship behind each build: the precision, the problem-solving, and the dedication that turn plans into reality.
This insight allows me to photograph not just structures, but the process, the progress, and the people who make it all happen. Whether it’s the raw momentum of a job site or the clean, refined finish of a completed project, my goal is to highlight the story behind the work and the pride embedded in every stage. Here are some of my wildlife photographs, showcasing the details and moments that drew me into photography in the first place...Ah, and while you’re here… if you enjoy photography, feel free to check out my wildlife work on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/depthsoffeel/
